Toddler Assistant Teacher

Toddler Teacher Assistant for ages 12-30 months Full-time 6:30 am to 6:00 pm split shift available now.
Qualifications: Pass a DCF background screening.
Must be available Mon.
thru Fri.
45 hours of state-mandated training completed within one year.
CPR and 1st aid certification completed.
Be able to lift at least 40 pounds.
Stay positive.
Responsibilities and Duties: Must be reliable.
Must supervise children in classrooms and the extended classroom, which is on the playground.
Engage in all activities with children such as jumping, dancing, walking, and running.
Respond quickly and appropriately to children's needs.
Be able to sit on the floor with the children with the agility to change position quickly.
Be flexible and willing to work as a team.
Maintain DCF/Apple mandates.
Provide professional and respectful communications with staff and parents.
Must keep confidentiality.
Annual continue 24 hours mandated education.
