Immediate need for licensed 220 General Lines Insurance Agent for high volume insurance agency.
Agency is located within large realty office providing abundant amount of pre-qualified leads from both in-house 30 Realtors and Mortgage broker.
Agency appointments include all top-rated carriers for home, auto, flood and all other lines of insurance.
Quoting is processed through an advanced comparative rating system for speed and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
* Sales and Consultation: Engage with prospective clients to understand their insurance needs and recommend suitable coverage options.
Present insurance policies that align with the clients' requirements and budget.
* Policy Issuance: Prepare and process insurance policy applications, ensuring accurate information and adherence to underwriting guidelines.
* Customer Service: Provide ongoing support to clients by assisting with policy changes, endorsements, claims, and any other inquiries related to their insurance coverage.
* Policy Renewals: Manage policy renewals by proactively contacting clients, reviewing coverage, and making appropriate recommendations based on any changes in circumstances.
* Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, insurance products, and changes in regulations to provide informed advice to clients.
* Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with state insurance laws, regulations, and company policies.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and insurance applications.
* Networking: Build and maintain relationships with clients, insurers, and other professionals in the insurance industry to generate new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
* Insurance License: Hold a valid 220 insurance license issued by the state regulatory authority.
This license allows the agent to sell property and casualty insurance products.
* Knowledge: Possess a comprehensive understanding of various insurance products, coverage options, and underwriting guidelines.
* Sales Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential for successful client interactions and sales.
* Customer-focused: Demonstrated ability to prioritize customer needs and provide excellent service.
* Detail-oriented: Maintain accurate records and process insurance applications with precision.
* Ethics: Uphold high ethical standards in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and insurance companies.

* Experience with Applied Rater and Ezlynx Agency Management Systems a plus, but not required.
