Job Title: Sales Associate
Business: REFUEL - Convenience Store & Gas Station
Location: Wesley Chapel, FL
Store Hours: 5am to 12 am, 7 Days per Week
Reports To: Shift Manager
Sales Associates are at the forefront of customer service.
Positive interactions with customers ensure repeat business in the future for any gas station/convenience store.
Welcoming an incoming customer with a friendly smile and warm greeting goes a long way and assures they leave the premises with a positive impression of the station.
Because every employee has also been a customer of a gas station, it is easy to know what should be expected out of a transaction.
Employees should treat customers with respect, and make it clear that their business is appreciated.
Sales Associate Daily Duties and Responsibilities:
Immediately greet every customer upon arrival in the store.
Make sales transactions quickly and accurately.
Dress professionally each day, including any uniforms provided.
Treat customers, co-workers, and vendors in a friendly, courteous manner.
Operate POS system according to REFUEL standards surrounding cash handling, returns, voids and lottery management.
Develop the ability to read and understand instructions for operating tank monitoring equipment.
Restock products to shelves, check expiration dates, ensure only fresh/intact products are sold.
Initiate fuel pump upon payment from a customer.
Verify ID on lottery ticket sales and track lottery ticket sales in compliance with state law.
Check for valid ID for any attempted purchases of alcohol or tobacco products.
Regulate car wash operations.
Execute daily duties with speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
Store Daily Tasks include, but are not limited to:
Sales Floor Merchandising/Stocking
Food Service Management
Cooler Merchandising
Exterior cleaning/Sweeping/Parking Lot/Trash Management
Interior Cleaning/Sweeping/Mopping/Bathrooms/Trash Management
Vendor Check-In's
Ensure REFUEL policies and procedures surrounding safety and operational excellence are within compliance.
Perform work with integrity, honesty, and respect.
Support upper management in other tasks and assignments on an ongoing basis.

REQUIREMENTS
Experience in Food, Retail, POS, Lottery sales, Fuel and Convenience is preferred.
Ability to work 35-40 hours per week.
Reliable Transportation.
Dress professionally each day, including any uniforms provided.
Flexible availability based on business needs.
This may include any/all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
Exemplary customer service.
