The facility includes engineering, manufacturing, assembly, R&D/testing lab, management, sales & marketing, administration and service.
Job Description SUMMARY: Receives, stores, and distributes items and tools.
Compiles records related to ordering, receiving, storing, and issuing items, supplies, and equipment by performing the following duties.
Essential Functions: Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records Maintains electronic records and files paper records of materials sent.
Determines method of shipment.
Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons.
Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers.
Inserts items into containers.
Nails covers on wooden crates and binds containers with metal tape.
Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, verify part numbers agree with purchase order, reports damaged items to appropriate personnel, records shortages.
Maintains electronic records using ERP system and files paper records of materials received.
Routes items to departments.
Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
Enforces company security policies and procedures.
Reads production schedule and work orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Operates forklift or uses pallet jack to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform.
Additional Responsibilities: Perform daily housekeeping activities to ensure a clean and safe work area.
Lift a minimum of 50 lb on a regular basis Qualifications BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Must have a High school diploma or equivalent PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Shipping & Receiving experience including international shipping, working with UPS/FedEx and using an ERP system Familiar with blueprint reading Ability to be Fork lift certified Attention to detail Organized and able to work in a fast paced environment.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $18 - $22/hour based on a full-time schedule.
Compensation for roles at Syntegon varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
